We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) as well as most bank issued debit cards.
Unlimited mileage can be added to any rental contract depending on location. Please contact your nearest location for terms.
All renters must have a valid drivers license. We do not accept a learners permit or any sort of temporary driver’s license.
We require all renters to have at least liability insurance with the policy written in their own name
Yes, there will be a refundable security deposit (amount determined and based on location) that will be returned to the renter at the completion of the reservation and when all rental terms have been met.
We offer Weekly rates at a discounted rate. You can contact your nearest location to learn more about weekly pricing and how to set up a corporate account.
Additional drivers can be added to the rental contract as long as they also meet all the rental requirements. All forms of Government issued ID must have matching names and the name on the license must match the form of payment as well as the insurance policy.
If anyone other than those on the rental contract operate the vehicle, then the renter is subject to forfeit the security deposit as per the rental agreement and will no longer be eligible for future rental through Best Rent A Car.
We ask that you return all rentals at the same fuel level they were at when the rental term began. If the fuel level is lower than what was documented and agreed to prior to departure, a minimum refueling charge fee will be assessed to your bill.
It is not possible to reserve a certain make or model online, just the vehicle class. If there are several vehicles available in the class you chose on our lot when you come to pick up your rental, we can allow you to pick your desired rental at that time. However, there are never any guarantees for a specific vehicle.
There is one permitted extension that can be done over the phone during any rental period. Any additional extension beyond that point will require the renter to visit the rental location and extend the rental agreement in person.
No car seats are provided or are available.
We do not allow pets of any kind in our vehicles. Exceptions can be made for service animals with proper documentation with manager approval.
There is absolutely no smoking of any kind in any of our vehicles. Absolutely no exceptions will be made. A renter or passengers of the renter that violate this policy will be subject to the forfeiture of their security deposit to be used for a cleaning fee and they will no longer be able to rent any type of vehicle from any of our locations in the future.
Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from certain airports. Our current shuttle service is available only at our Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC Locations.
